Big-body movement: climbing, balancing, running and games.

Sensory Choice

Sand, water, textures and making — children choose where to play.

Closing Circle

A story, a song and what we’re proud of today.

Classes

Two classes a day, Monday to Friday.

Morning class

8:45 – 11:45

For early risers who learn best while the day is fresh.

Afternoon class

12:30 – 3:30

For children who are ready to learn after a slow morning at home.

  • Monday to Friday
  • One small snack included
  • Nut-free building

Tuition

$165 a week

Five days a week, Monday to Friday, in the class you choose.

  • Mondays only: $40 a week
  • Billed monthly, by e-transfer or card
  • $29 one-time registration
  • $100 holding deposit, taken off your first month

How joining works

Three simple steps.

  1. Tell us about your child

    Answer a few quick questions below. It takes two minutes.

  2. Come and see the room

    A proper look round, by appointment. Bring your child if you’d like — they usually love it.

  3. Hold your place

    Register ($29), pay the $100 holding deposit — it comes off your first month — and your child starts on their first day.

Full? Our waiting list is free. Brothers and sisters of enrolled children get the next place first, and saying no to an offered place never loses your spot.

Tuition is $165 a week for five days, or $40 a week for Mondays only, billed monthly.Bright Steps is private — it isn’t part of the $10-a-day program and doesn’t take child care subsidy. Does that work for your family?

A note about licensing. Bright Steps Academy is a private program, not a licensed child care centre. We follow Ontario’s rules for unlicensed care, which means no more than five children in the room at a time.
