✨ The next time your child melts down... don't say a word for the first 90 seconds

🤍 I know... it sounds backwards.

When our children are overwhelmed, our first instinct is often to ask questions...

👉 "What's wrong?" 👉 "Use your words." 👉 "Take a deep breath."

But during a true meltdown, their nervous system isn't ready for language yet.

Sometimes the kindest thing we can do is become the calm their body is searching for.

💚 Here's the 90-second reset we use:

🌿 Move closer.

🌿 Stay quiet.

🌿 Match their breathing.

🌿 Offer one comforting object.

🌿 Wait until their shoulders soften before speaking.

Simple.

Gentle.

Powerful.

✨ This tiny shift has completely changed the way we support overwhelmed children.

📖 We wrote an entire guide explaining WHY it works, what happens in a child's brain during a meltdown, and exactly what to say afterward.
